The Case for Monogenēs Meaning "Only Begotten" is Mounting

I don't take a dogmatic stance on the meaning of monogenes . I'm open to either interpretation. However, it is interesting that the tide of scholarly consensus is slowly turning back to the traditional interpretation.

What B.B. Warfield Got Wrong in His Doctrine of the Trinity

The Gospel Coalition has a blog on What B.B. Warfield Got Wrong in His Doctrine of the Trinity

I'm open to various Trinitarian formulations. Even Warfield's formulation. The above link to the Gospel Coalition's article is one point of view. The article includes a video lecture by Scott Swain on why Warfield allegedly was wrong in rejecting the generation/filiation of the Son and procession/spiration of the Holy Spirit. It also includes a link to the Warfield Trinity Study Edition which is Warfield's classic article on the Trinity with annotations by Fred Sanders.
